Dawat Express - Paddington: Authentic Pakistani Flavors & Fresh Masala Chai in Central London

09/12 - hands down the best chai in central London. The chai is brewed freshly for each order which is a standout when compared to chaiwalla, fillis and many other competitors that use large flask to store and serve. The order takes a little longer but anyone will be happy to wait a few minutes. I have been ordering chai 2 or sometimes 3 times a day and Amar from Iraq makes the best chai at Dawat hands down. Visited the Dawat Express for breakfast and it was superb. The hallwa puri and spicy omelette was delicious. The masala chai was a comforting to the soul on a cold winters day. The hallwa puri is priced at £10 which is great value for money. The venue is immaculately clean and spacious, the vibe is relaxed yet a lovely sense of luxury. The menu is extensive with mouthwatering offerings and you just know the food is good because it’s busy even at 11am.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience here! The Haleem was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced – one of the best I’ve ever had. Every bite was authentic and comforting, making it a standout dish that I’d definitely come back for. A big thank you to Maria and Huda for their excellent service.
